The kitchen is distinguished by our meats and our baking, with Maureen or Vanda starting every morning making the pastry, and Rachel, preparing the stocks, joints and everything inbetween. We have a good strong relationship with all the renowned local butchers, this guarantees that our meats are of the very best quality and ensures that our pies and roasts are always consistent. These have earned us quite a reputation.

Sunday luncheon makes a great family occasion and a good introduction to children to dining out. We have seen our customers bring their newborns, who in turn grow up, get married and then bring their own children to the pub, we have hosted Christenings, Weddings and sadly Funerals for over three generations of families - our customers.
