Stanley House
The Waggon & Horses at Langsett now has a holiday cottage.
 
Stanley House is a 100 year old cottage, sitting, on the old village green in the tiny Hamlet of Langsett on the edge of the Dark peak in the Peak District National Park. The cottage with its super views has just been newly decorated and  refurnished  throughout.

Stanley House has a fully featured kitchen / dinning room, a comfy living room and a useful conservatory. Upstairs we have three bedrooms and a bathroom. It can accommodate upto six people; with two sets of zip and link beds so you can use two of the bedrooms as either doubles or twins. The third room is equipped with bunk beds for children

Children:
Children are welcome, however please note that the cottage is not equipped for the safety of toddlers. Babies in cots are welcome too. (Children over 6 only on top bunk)

Pets:
Dogs are allowed in the holiday cottage but must be kept under strict control. they are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture and must sleep in the conservatory, guests must supply dogs own bedding.

Features:
electricity, gas central heating, gas fire pot belly stove and hot water, bed linen and towels are all included

great walks straight from the door, good for mountain biking and horse riding too

excellent pub and cafe in the village

fully equipped kitchen with microwave and washing machine - pantry includes tea, fresh ground coffee and caffitaire, sugar, condiments, cooking oil, washing-up liquid

large dinning table with six chairs

living room - three seater sofa, armchair and puff. TV with DVD player, an eclectc selection of DVDs, books, games and maps. Coal effect, gas powered pot-belly stove

conservatory - boot storage, clothes horse, bench, chairs and coffee table

upstairs - two good size bedrooms with zip and link beds (can be made into double beds or twin beds) sleeps four and one small bunk room, sleeps two. All three rooms have storage and bedside cabinets
